I recently discovered through my Norton Antivirus 2005 that I have some virus
(I think a trojan horse) that is on my C:\System Volume Information with a
bunch of #'s following it..it says that it is a hacktool. I tried but can
not quarantine it, can not delete it, can't do anything with it. I'm not a
computer expert but I think it is in somehow related to the adware virus that
I also had on my computer. I've looked on the Symantic site where it lists
certain virus's and how to get rid of them, but it doesn't list this
particular one. Any advice out there??

I would think the "virus" is in one of your system restore points. The only
sure way to get rid is to disable system restore, restart the PC then turn
on system restore again. Just be aware all your previous restore points will
be gone.
There is an option to remove all but the last restore point in disk cleanup
but if the virus is in the last restore point then it wont get rid of it.
