Help!! I've been hacked. I cannot access my documents.
Cannot control my own computer. I found someone logged
onto the internet using my yahoo dsl account and have
since reported it to online abuse. In the mean time, can
anyone tell me how I can take possesion back of my own
documents?
Obvious settings changes were made and I dont know how to
undo any of this damage.
You assistance is appreciated.
Thanks

Pull the plug, literally and immediately (I mean the USB or Ethernet
jack, not the main power plug, of course). Then get competent help from
a trusted friend or a professional.

If you need to ask this question here, I take it to mean that you won't
be able to ensure that things are made right again. This isn't meant to
offend, just to point out how important it is to cut your losses, clean
everything up, and secure everything as much as possible to prevent
future intrusions. However, one thing I would be 100% adamant on, if I
were you, is starting with a clean install.

And DO NOT use the same passwords! CHange ALL your passwords for the
workstation and ALL server and internet accounts you have.
