Hacdef.C Virus

I have turned off system restore and repaired installed windows to get rid
of the effects of this virus. I activate system restore and straight away
it comes back, yet all virus scans do not find it.
Can anyone advise of how to get rid of it please.

Maybe you're not rebooting right after disabling System Restore? If
you don't, System Restore will not be flushed.
