we got new computers at wk so i got to keep the one i had, when i brought it
home there was security & passwords all over it. i was playing ard in bios to
tryv to reset the administrator passwords. i couldn't . the "IT" guy at wk
gave me a disk that reset passwords, but i had to reconfiguere the bios to
boot from the floppy. i did something wrong - i think i disabled the "IDE
drive? and i was going to make it the floppy but i got distracted & my son
rebooted before i replaced where to go to on initial boot. now when i turn it
on i hear the HD but nothing on the screen at all -0- HELP, someone said just
press "F8", it doesn't wk. as you can tell i'm not too computer savy. i will
appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Go see the IT guy and take the computer with you, it is
beyond any help you will likely be able to follow without
supervision.

You sure you wanna do this??
unplug the system
open the case
look for a little round battery..........the CMOS battery
carefully remove it...........do not touch the contacts
wait 5 minutes
carefully put battery back
plug sysetm back in and turn on...........be prepared to enter the BIOS.
This should have reset the BIOS to Factory specs..........now you'll just have
to reset all the settings
