Guess MS response email links are broken now?

Have 3 response emails to my two posted questions and none of the links get
me to the posted reply. Two however get me to a search page, but typing in
the first three words of my post's title and pointing the engine to the right
newsgroup fail to find my posts.

Have you tried to simplify finding yours by selecting Current View from the
View drop down menu and clicking Show Replies to my messages?

When I mentioned the MS e-mail notifications link is only getting me to a
search page and not my posted response, maybe I should have added that the
title of the webpage is "Welcome to Microsoft Discussion Groups" as seeking
to follow your suggestion, I see no options for "Current View from the View
drop down menu and clicking Show Replies to my messages".

I don't really know what you're talking about because I've never used
the web interface, but I assume you are experiencing difficulties with
the web interface to these groups. This is not unusual since the web
interface is pretty awful. Here is information which will help you get
far more out of this valuable resource:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
some links to information about newsgroups:

Enter your user name, Stupid Steven, in the Search box here:

You can also find them here:

Finally, take Malke's sage advice and set up a real newsreader.

Good luck

Use the same name and email address. Then you can use the view menu and you'll be acting like an adult (and man).

Current View and Show Replies.......... refer to Outlook Express. Using a news
reader to view the groups is by far better than using the web (CDO) interface.
