Groupwise Notify functionality in Outlook 2003

Hi,

we've recently switched from Novell to Microsoft. I used to run a
small app that was very easy on system resources: "Groupwise Notify".
It would tell me if I had new mail (and I didn't need to have the
entire Groupwise client running in the background). Is there such a
functionalty with Outlook?

Hi again, is there anyone out there that's got any idea regarding
this?

Another thing, is it possible (in Outlook) to see how many recipents
that opened my mail? I could see that in Groupwise with numerical
indicators when sending mail to recipents in within our internal mail
system (this was done automatically, I'm not talking about receipts)
