I have a file that was handed off to me with data that is bein
consolidated within a pivot table. Some of the data is consolidate
into ranges for the rows of the pivot table. How can I see where thi
grouping into range methodology is within the pivot table?

(ie: If the raw data had a person's name, age, and balance; The pivo
table would take total balance for all people within age 10-20, 20-30
30-40, etc. But in the raw data, the people's ages are 15, 16, 24, etc
How can I see where the formula is that groups the ages together in th
pivot table?

UDcc123, is that a great feature, or what? Here's how they did it:

In Excel 2000, in the pivot table, right-click the "Age" field tile (or any
of the cells that contain the age groupings) and select Group and Outline >
Group, to display the Grouping dialog box. Note that these are groupings
based on the "Age" field, and whoever did the groupings specified a Starting
at: value, an Ending at: value, and an interval (10, I bet). You can change
any of these. If you want to get rid of the groupings altogether, it's Group
and Outline > Ungroup.
