Group Postings Take 5 Hours for Me to View...

Am I the only one for whom these group postings are 5-6 hours behind?
The most current posting for me at 11:30am EST right now was posted at
6:30am. And I won't be able to see what I am writing right now until
the end of the day even though when it does pop up, often people will
have responded hours ago. I'm on a Mac and this is the case with Safari
and Explorer...

That is because it takes a long time for postings to propagate around the world
to all of the servers. First they are loaded on all of the Microsoft servers
and then other sites, like Google, have to do "refreshes". If you access the
newsgroups directly from your news reader, rather than your browser, you'll see
postings within a few minutes. See:
