group policy settings

is there any publication of all the settings you can use and what they
mean in xp group policy. i am trying to have a program disabled from
running and id like to know where the setting is. this is a local
machine so we are not talking domains.

You might find setting the NTFS permissions on the
program's files on disk the most effective way to do
what you have said you are after.
Software Restriction Policies are able to do what
you have mentioned, but use of them has a learning
curve, and, as you are not in a domain, local policies
apply to all accounts equally (which you might not
actually want to be how it happens)

Yea, the simplier, more direct ways of doing things
sometimes get overlooked hiding in among all the
high power features ;-)
