I am running W2k Server and configured a NAT by ICS (2 network adapters). Once I disabled the file and print sharing service in my network adapter towards Internet, I've gotten Userenv 1000 & SceCli 1202 in Application Event Log. I've tried to open an explorer and connected to \\domain.local\sysvol, it appears "Remote Computer cannot be used".

Please help.

1. Make sure only the Internal Interface has Register this connections
settings in DNS checked.

2. Make sure File and Printer sharing is checked for the Internal Interface.

3. Make sure only one Default Gateway is defined.

4. If this is a DNS server make sure we point to ourself for DNS and we use
forwarders to point to the ISPs DNS servers.

5. Make sure you also have a domain controller in your domain that is
pointed to the same Internal DNS server as this machine.

After the above is reset reboot this computer or run the following

Net Stop Dns
Net Start Dns
Net Stop Netlogon
Ipconfig /flushdns
Net Start Netlogon
Ipconfig /registerdns

If the above doesn't help, repost with the details of the Userenv 1000 &
SceCli 1202 in Application Event Log.
