Group Email lists without "huge" address list

I would like to send an email to my customers/prospects without the header
having all the addressees listed. The list can be rather large (couple of
hundred). How can I set a group up so that when the receipient gets the
email, all he/she would see is their name, and not the others on the list??

I would do a Mailmerge myself, if the group is that big...
 
i tried looking into the "help" files for mail merge, but didn't get any
help. How do I create a "mail merge"?? Directions to the links would be
helpful. Thanks.
