Gridlines not printing

Using Office XP...

I have an excel chart (object on sheet) with a legend positioned within the
chart area. When I print it out (HP Laserjet, can't remember model, sorry)
the gridlines that run behind the legend are missing. The gridlines show
perfectly on screen (both normal and print preview).

Any ideas what might be causing this, and what the solution would be? Oh
and before I forget, I printed it out on an old old b&w printer - all the
lines appeared as they should.

Thanks in advance

You could visit the HP web site, and download the latest version of the
print driver for your printer and operating system.

Install that, and it may fix the problem

Thanks Debra, I'll give that a try.
