Can I create greeting cards, i.e. Christmas cards, using Office 2003
applications Word or PowerPoint?

It would be quite easy using Word if your printer supported booklet
printing. What type of printer do you have?

I doubt that this printer has the capability to print booklets. Therefore,
your option might be to do the following:

1. Open Word and create a four-page document.
2. Leave the first page blank (will actually be page 4 - back of the card)
3. Type what you want to be on the cover of your card on page 2
4. Type what you want on the inside left on page 3 and inside right on page
4.
5. Print your document as "two pages per sheet" in landscape format. Print
pages 1 and 2 together, take the paper out, turn it over and print pages 3
and 4 on the back.

Depending on how your printer prints, you might need to experiment a little
to get the right orientation. If you picture your card in your mind and
open the card so the cover is to the right, you will see that this side
includes Page 4 (left side) and Page 1 (right side) on one side of the
paper, then Page 2 (left side) and Page 3 (right side) on the reverse.

Good luck and have fun. By the way, there are products out there that can
convert your printer into a booklet-type printer (www.fineprint.com for
example). Of course they cost money, but usually much less than a new
printer!
