Grayed out paste

On a Win2000 server I am experiencing the strange
phenominon of trying to copy a file from say a CD in the
local drive (sitting @ the console ) and when I try to
paste to the local hard drive paste is grayed out.

Any ideas?

check your AV etc as I believe this can be a manifestation of
the MS Blast virus
