Graphs not showing up in Presentation Mode

Any graph or chart in PowerPoint does not display in presnetation mode or the
working mode. In the Presentation mode the area is simply blank. In the
working mode there is a red 'x' on the corner of the graph or chart. When I
double click on the empty area I do see the actual graph in Excel.

I have re-installed office and still have the same symptoms.

What is the solution?

Hi Charles,

Have you try to use paste special? instead of just paste.
It might be good to use the printscreen method to capture the graph that you
just trying to insert? But if you need to edit it later you will be doing it
again and again?

Also try to use insert file command "Chart" and from the chart you trying to
insert.
