Hi all,
First up what a great web sit :)
Now
My system OS =XP Pro
Gigabyte Motherboard GA-7ZXE
Via kt133a AGPset
Athlon XP 2000
512Meg SDRam
Creative 3D Blaster G-Force 3
Sound Blaster live
60 Gig hard drive
The problem :)
Can anyone please help my graphics have started to go corrupt everything on screen just become unreadable and blocky some time I get a screen full of small coloured spots,
(no I havent been at the fizz)
I have had this card for a year now with no problems ( until now)
this can happen at any time , sometimes just after boot up other times I can be up and running for hours no problem.
I have 2 case fans in my pc plus the sides of the case are off so I don`t think its a heat problem .I also have all the latest drivers so what do you think as my graphics card bought it or what

Thanks for the reply I have already tried all the drivers from Nvidia .
It looks like it time to replace the card :angry:
I wont be buying another card from creative :eek:
any Ideas on whats the best card to get I am thinking of a G-force 4 ti 128bit I have about £130 to spend ?:P

do not get a abit graphics card me and my brother both have the Geforce 4 ti4200 OTES and both have them have broken i have sent mine back to abit under warenty but my brothers has gone past the warenty.

HAHAHAHA
 
Before you go investing in a new card. Have you simply tried reinstalling the drivers that came with it?

Have you checked the windows device manager to see if there are any conflicting devices? Maybe you ave installed a new piece of hardware recently that has conflicting settings?

After that, open up the computer and make sure there isn't a collection of dust in there. This can cause overheating and poor performance from your components.
Also just have a quick check to make sure that card hasn't become loose.
