Dear All,

I am using PowerPoint XP and I am copying graphics from one
presentation to another. The presentations are very similar so I wish
to keep the graphics the same dimentions. Unfortunatly when I paste
them into my current presentation they default back to their full size
of centementers big rather than millimeters. This is driving me mad,
all I want to do is copy a small graphics from one pesentation to
another and maintain the size. I have hundreds to do so I will be well
chuffed with any solution you chaps can come up with.

PS. I tried PPT 2003 and the problem does not occur, but I cannot use
that PC for this job. HELLLP!

Many thanks in advance

Kevin

Don't use copy and paste. First save the images to your hard drive and then
insert them from file in the second presentation. You can select the graphic,
copy it and then past it in Microsoft Photo Editor and save it to an image
format.

That extra bit of info helps. Thanks.

It's a nearly sure thing that this'll fix you up:

Tools, AutoCorrect Options, AutoFormat As You Type tab
Remove the check next to "Automatic layout for inserted objects"
Click OK

There ya go.
