Graphics-rich email sent from Word or Outlook are corrupted

When trying to use Word or Publisher as Email editors, the graphics files
embedded in the Word document get sent as attachments rather than a "what you
see is what you get" transmission (Note: This is even true when viewing in a
Hotmail account). Outlook previews the sent msg's as they appear in Word.
Also, a Microsoft template designed for Email newsletters gets corrupted in a
similar manner. Is it possible to send an intact newsletter that is not sent
as an attachment? --

The better approach is to create your html message as a page in FrontPage.
All images must be placed in your page AND on your web site and then the
image must be linked to. Open a new message using MS Word as your e-mail
editor, open the FrontPage file, and select all (Ctrl+A), copy to the
clipboard (Ctrl+C), click in your message and paste (Ctrl+V).

However you send e-mail messages, you have no control over how they are
viewed. Many users, myself included, convert all incoming e-mails to plain
text which will separate out graphics and eliminate text formatting etc.
