Hi Everyone,
Help Needed
I was happily loading an item on ebay when suddenly all the graphics went to
pot !
I am now in a situation where the screen resolution page will not work
properly, and I am stuck with oversized letters etc also if I try to change
anything I just get vertical lines all over the screen all jumping about.
I have a Toshiba Satellite 5100-501 laptop, XP Service Pack 2, NVIDIA
GeForce4 440 Go
I look forward to a reply.
Barbara.

Hello,
I'm not sure but spyware can sometimes do strange things. Have you tried an
anti-spyware program? I recommend Hitman Pro (free download). If this doesn't
work I wouldn't know how to help you.
Good luck!

Try this.......right click a vacant area of the Desktop, select Properties
from the popup menu, in the Display Properties window, select the Settings
tab, then click on the Advanced button. Now click on the Troubleshoot tab
and move the Hardware Acceleration slider to one notch above
"None".......Apply and OK out. Reboot. If your problem goes away,
suspect corrupt video drivers or the need for new drivers (see maker's
website for available updates), or possibly a bad video card. Don't forget
to put the 'slider' back to Full when resolved.
Heirloom, old and hope that helps
