I have the same problem as the one described here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;283751
However, I did not update Windows. My NVIDIA MX 440
graphics card has been working before, and after I did the
following:
Installed Slackware Linux and LILO (Linux Loader)
Set Linux partition to boot partition (hid Windows partition)
Was not able to load either OS and forced to delete Linux
using Windows XP CD
Installed new Windows XP in other partition
Installed Partition Magic on that partition and fixed
everything (unhid original partition)
The graphics card emerged with this problem. How do I
resolve this?
