I currently have a ATI radeon 9200 on my computer which
came pre-installed when i bought it. It now frequently
crashes with a message of device failure. In the error
logs it creates this message. The driver ati2dvag for the
display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite
loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device
itself or with the device driver programming the hardware
incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device
vendor for any driver updates. This i've done, but to no
success. It keeps on crashing. Someone please help.

The best thing to do is search google.com for a
diagnostic program and test the card. How old is your
computer? Is it under warranty? If its less than a year
old you might be able to take it back. Do a diagnostic on
it first.Chances are you may have to buy a new one.
All the best.....

I have exactly the same problem. I purchased a system
from Time and have tried downloading the Catalyst driver,
as advised, but to no avail. If you find a solution to
this could you please let me know, I like-wise I will do
the same. Thanks Ed D.

P.S. I have been told by a computer technichian that this
is more than likely a device fault. ie. the graphics card
is either faulty or is lose from its housing.
