Hi there,

finally I have my XPE Image (thanx alot to KM), but running a simple VB6
application that works fast on Win98 on a PII 350mhz, on the VIA Epia V8000
running very very slow!!!

I have to add some component to increase the graphic performance?

Sincerely,

Please make sure that:

- Proper display driver got installed. To check that, use Device Manager or devcon.
Also, check \windows\fba\FBALog.txt file for related errors.

- The processor component used is as close to the target as possible.

Also one additional important thing is GART driver that you must provide.

Hi David,

This is usually driver used to handle northbridge part of chipset related to graphic cards. (Just told in simple words.)
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=GART+driver

For Intel based AGP chipsets it is always driven by file agp440.sys provided in XPe repository.
Other MB chipset manufacturers like VIA, NVIDIA, etc usually provide their own drivers that need to be componentized.
