I just installed a Geforce FX 5200 but it will only let me use one resloution and a lower refresh rate then my old on-board intel 845G. Me and my friend have tried everything to make me be able to change my resolution higher. I had it on another computer and it worked fine. When i enable my Intel Card i can set the resolution to 1024. On this card it doesnt matter where i set it, it still shows as 800X.

It needs to know about your monitor, update the monitor and
update the graphic drivers.

I also own a Jetway FX5200 and currently use the 82845G graphics controller
(the motherboard is also a Jetway), but it hasn't been installed yet. Maybe
try updating the ForceWare drivers for FX5200
