Grab previous records field

A form of mine is in continious forms, and what I am wanting to do is if
after a combobox update, if the comboboxes value = "yes", then grab the last
records value in [desc] on the same form.
There will always be a previous record prior to the one be entered in [desc]
if the comboboxes value = "yes".

Rather than have the user update this combobox, you could just have them hit
CTRL+' in the description field. That key combination copies the previous
record's value for the current field.

If you really want to default in the previous record value, then do a a
search. That topic is addressed in here often. The following link contains
