GoToRecord,,,,on SubForm

I have added
DoCmd.GotoRecord acDataForm,"Product SubForm",acNewRec
to my sub form Open Event but when I now open the parent I
get error that my sub is not open.If I open the sub alone
it opens okay.
Any thought's appreciated
 
This is a shot in the dark, but try putting it in the OnLoad event rather
than the OnOpen.
