I am considering allowing a "Virtual Assistant" to use my
PC via gotomypc.com or pcanywhere. I would like to
password protect some of my folders so that they cannot
access personal information etc. Is there a way to
password protect individual folders? I know I can set up
security levels, but I think that gotomypc.com and
pcanywhere will circumvent the log on process.

pcAnywhere will take over the current session. If someone
is logged on then it will assume all the rights and privileges
of that account. If nobody is logged on then you must log
on as if you were sitting in front of the PC. It's exactly like
operating the PC with two very, very long arms.

LOL - nicely put. I am going to "borrow" that from you. Or from whomever you
borrowed it from yourself.

Thanks - I claim credit for this one. Add the long, long eye stalks if you
like!
