how to stop web addresses drop down in google searcg bar

hello well i think what your asking is how you remove search or url's
from google's search bar. first of all if you have the latest version
of google search bar then go to view search history. then down at the
bottom there is a link that says Clear History, click it and it goes
away. good luck need any more help just post back

Google Search is a web site, not a program.
I believe the person is referring to the option under:
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Content > Personal
Information > Autocomplete

Google itself is a web site. The Google Search Bar (aka Google Toolbar),
which is what he asked about, is not.
