Google will not load

I installed spybot on a windows xp (sp1) with IE6(sp1) computer and
now google.com and google generally causes the browser to stop
responding and then comes back with page not found message. I have
since removed spybot but still have the same problem. I can go on any
other search engines without a problem so it seems that google must do
something locally that the browser doesn't like. Any ideas?
 
Remove your temp files and cookies you may have a a
coruppted file /cookie for that google load page.
 
If you also have problems with other search engines then it may be this
trojan.

Be sure that you install hotfix 828750 which fixes the exploit that this
