anyone know a way to get more from google.....extra filters
maybe?....or any added features/data mining tricks for non
techies??....i like the non official "google ultimate interface" which
is found on the "fagan finder site" but are there any progs which can
interact with googles search page and provide stuff like alexa rank
etc?

I use proxomitron to totally edit the look and feel of google. Some of
the filters I have in place are
alexa 'preview webpage'- displays a thumbnail of the webpage next to the
link
a filter to create a direct link to images found via Google image search
a filter to removed sponsored links from searches

Most of these filters popped up at one time or another in the yahoo
proxomitron group.

The Greasemonkey extension for Firefox lets you do things like that
(including those specific Google things) with websites. There's a pile
of scripts for it at <http://dunck.us/collab/GreaseMonkeyUserScripts>.

i'm currently using maxathon browser and it works fine with
that.....not sure about firefox or anything else though

i found proxomitron not suitable for non techies like myself....a bit
technical in language for a newbee.

perfect........never noticed this extention before....it looks like a
real beuty.......thanks......A

and 'buy these products', and G's own desktop plug, and 'search
using Google' on non-G pages, and ...

Ain't Proxomitron a delight! :)
