Who is the godfather of csharp. I am assuming the team leader of the visual
c# team at microsoft.

Who, incidently, worked for a long time at Borland, is also the father of
turbo pascal and played a major role in delphi.
He's considered one of the leading experts on language design today.

Don't underestimate the power of a leader.

The best systems come from the vision of a single person, the judgment of a
single direction relentlessly pursued, and the determination to bring that
vision into being.

Teams deliver the results, but a leader delivers the vision, the passion,
and the direction to the team. Without the leader, the team accomplishes
very little.

Anders deserves full credit.

I don't personally believe that any one man alone is the "godfather" of
C#, or any language come to that. The companies that promote the languages
such as borland for delphi, and ms for c#, etc, would like you to believe
that there is, as it makes the concept of programming seem more
melodramatic, and therefore fun, but in reality it is a whole team of people
toiling over it in a stuffy office for years until they get it right - not
some loon genius with a cauldron in his shed.
