Gmail problems

I can neither send or receive and get the following messages:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Trend Q', Account:
'gmail.com', Server: 'gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Account: 'gmail.com', Server: 'gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response:
'-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90

I just discovered that uninstalling my antivirus (Trends) corrected my
problem with Windows Mail. Uninstalling your current antivirus may help with
your problem too. There is a suggested link listed in other postings for
another antivirus program compatible with Windows Mail. Hope this helps.
