Anyway to do a "global Search" for a word that could be used as a field name
or in a query or in the code (Not DATA)?
I have changed a misspelled field name in a table and I want to find every
instance of the old spelling so I can be sure they are all changed.
Thanks

Grabbing it now.

I am assuming this is for structure (fields, queries, code) and not date.

Thanks much

If I can get it to do what I want I will defentally reqister it.
However at this point it is NOT working.
However I am convinced that "Vista" is the issue.
I have access 2003 and access 2007 installed on this machine. They seem to
play nice togather most of the time.
This project (the reason I needed the find&replace) is being done in 2003 so
I don't think that is the issue.

I am going to put the Find&Replace on my laptop (XP Pro) and I am expecting
it to be just fine.
This is not the first incounted with add-ins that I have had on my Vista
machine, but I have too many XP machines at my immediate disposal to let
that stop me.
I will keep you posted.
Thanks again

I don't know if it will work with Access 2007. It does work with Access
2003. As for Vista, I haven't installed it on my Vista machine. However, I
do know that it needs to write to the Registry, so you'll probably need to
run it as an Administrator.

I'll be interested in the outcome of this.

uninstalled and reinstalled on my Vista Machine after turning off UAC.
works fine now.
Ran it on my problem database and it found over 40 relations to my single
field name change that I had not manually found.

This is defentally keeper software for a bad speller like me.

Thanks much
