Hi All,

I have two DCs on my domain. Can I have both of them as Global Catalog? Are
there any advantages by havin g two GC compare to one GC?

Yes, redundancy, load balancing. If you only have one domain in your forest
there is no additional overhead of making all of your DCs GCs.

And if your one GC is down plus your domain functional level is at least 2k
native or higher, then users won't be able to log in! So much for DC
redundancy in that case.....
Please do be sure to make both DCs in to GCs. In fact, in single domain
environments I almost always recommend that all DCs are GCs. There are
probably cases where it is not appropriate, but they are few and far
between.
