Glitch in Powerpoint when working with Graphs?

Has anyone else had problems when working with PPT 2002
when working on a graph/chart in a slide and a freezing
computer?

Here is what happens:
I am updating a chart, changing the scale, maybe adding
some data labels and when I click outside of the chart to
get back to the slide, my powerpoint FREEZES and my
computer crashes. Giving me an error message about
something with my graph.exe.

Does anyone know what this is andi f it can be fixed?

Can you tell us exactly what the error message says?
Does anyone know what this is andi f it can be fixed?

It may be a video driver issue, but the error message may tell us more.
