Help! I cannot install XP because it says my mainboard is
incompatible with my video card. I have a Gigabyte 7ZXE
mainboard. I have tried 3 different video cards but keep
getting the same message. Right now I am using a GForce2
MX400 AGP card.

Thanks.

my brother has this board, and i installed it.

WHAT or WHO is telling you this. this is not any error
message i have seen. btw, my brother has a geforce4 Ti on
his.

trust me, these cards are compatible.

Some of the new motherboards are voltage sensitive and
you should check to make sure your video card voltage
matches the AGP voltage. Hopefully, you have not burned
out your motherboard. This is a quick way of doing that.
The site of your video card should tell you if your
motherboard is compatible with their card.
