Gif files

when i copy an animated gif from the internet, then copy
it to a PP presentation, it animates fine when i run the
show. however, in this particular case, i have to copy
this presentation through LapLink to another computer on
the network. i lose the animation somewhere in this
process. any ideas?
 
What version of PowerPoint are you using and what version is installed on the
other computer? If it is PowerPoint 97 that would explain it since PowerPoint
97 does not play animated GIFs.
