IE 6 fails to execute gif animation at my website when
set up viewed with Windows XP Home Edition. Only first
frame of GIF animation displays. I looked at other
trouble shooting measues associated with this problem
with Microsoft Support data base, but nothing addresses
this problem with my setup. This problem doesn't occur
with using Netscape browser. Does anyone else have a
similar problem with gif animations when using XP and IE
combination since IE forum has not responded to this
problem when XP is used in concert with IE?

What is the URL?
Have you cleared your cache lately? In IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

For URL try--->

GIF animations are at the home page and Animations page
of my website. Yes, I cleared the cache. The problem
doesn't appear when I view the animations using IE from
FrontPage 2003 since they animate just fine. The problem
may not be apparent with another OS type. The problem is
when I view the pages at my URL or website.

They animate for me. The Santa image doesn't loop, this might be the reason you don't
see the animation more than once. If you hit the refresh button, it will go through
its animation again. They are complex images, it might help to speed up the frame
rate.

That's OK. Santa image isn't supposed to loop. The
problem may be that IE is corrupted on my computer.
Thanks.
