Gif animation

Gif files no not animate in my IE6.

They work file in Mozilla Firefix.

I have checked advanced internet options, and they seem ok.

Any ideas???

Take note of the mention of firewalls like @Guard as others like Zone
Alarm Pro and NIS may also have a disable option.

I just hat the same problem: no gif animations. Nither in IE6 nor Netscape.
So I tried Alan Edwards recomendation to change my AtGuard settings: did not work.
But then I came on the Idea to reboot my machine and - miracle - now my gifs are flickering like crazy.
