HELP!!!! I'm trying view my work e-mails from my home computer. I'm VERY
frustrated. Can anyone help me?

Claire

Need a little more information. What provider? what e-mail? what is it that
doesn't work? Why do you make a point about being a "home" computer? Do
you move it and it works away?

On your work PC, you need to set it to leave a copy of the message on the
server, then it will be available for download on another PC.
Tools>accounts>select your account>properties>advanced tab.

Ensure that you set a reasonable number of days to delete from server, or
your work mail box will fill up.

You do have to set up your home email account to the settings required by
your Work email server.

However, there may be a catch. Not all email clients work with all email
servers. For example, if you're trying to use Windows Mail and your Work
email is a Notes or Exchange server -- it can't be made to work.

So, more information is required to know if this can even work.

If it can work, at the time you set this up AND BEFORE you let it check for
mail the first time - it's handy to disconnect the network cable first - you
need to set the HOME email client to leave messages on the server. If you
don't, you'll never see these messages at WORK. When you get back to work,
you need to to make the same setting there. Don't set it to leave mail on
the server forever.

This will, however, not allow you to look at the mail you already have on
your WORK system while you're at HOME.
