I downloaded the evaluation kit for XP Embedded; i need now WINPE and cannot
find it anywhere but by bying it; we're having some difficulties to find the
right Reseller.

Is there a way to get WINPE ? i'm looking for it for three weeks...

Pascal,

You can order XPe Eval Kit CD (I think you only pay for shipping).
1st CD will have WinPE on it.

Pascal,
I obviously don't know how you use WinPE but I have found that BartPE, which you
can easily google for, is a good substitute for my purposes. For me it is
actually better since I was able to add a driver for the Intel Pro 1000 which is
the embedded NIC in my target.

I already read that; we met a Microsoft guy this afternoon intending to get
ISV Partnership or SB; this is a hard road to get there...

I already use BartPE to deploy my solution; however I need WINPE cause it
can be installed onto a RIS Server; (instead of booting from a CD)

I only downloaded the eval kit... I'll order it;

KM, does BSquare sell out to Canada ?

I have also found BartPE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder) as great tool for many different things.
One advantage of PEBuilder over MS WinPE is that it seems to have greater and faster support from his enthusiastic developer(s).
E.g., it already supports XP SP2.

There are actually more options to substitute WinPE. E.g. WinInternals' ERD Commander.
See more info here: http://www.seanster.com/Super_WinPE/SuperWinPE1.htm.

Also, it may not be hard to create your own XPe Minlogon/CMD based image on a CD for a particular platform or some platforms. You
can just use EWF or /MININT boot.ini switch.

Physical Kit received and successful boot from the 1st cd with WinPE; i've
been able to customize startup operations using RIS also.

Thanks KM.
