Getting to SYSTEM window?

On several MS pages I read that this is how you're supposed to get to
the XP System window:
"To open System, click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance
and Maintenance, and then click System."

Is that right? I have no 'Performance and Maintenance' entry in
Control Panel. I do have 'System', which gets me to it directly. (But
in practice I use the shortcut [Win+Break].)

Depends on whether in control panel you are using classic view or
category view (top left of control panel)

Thanks, but from Start > Control Panel I just see the pop-up menu,
starting with Accessibility Options.
