Hi there

Excel 2003 opens a Getting Started pane on the right hand side.

Each time I close it manually.

Is there a way to stop this pane from loading.

Thanks

Michael

Pesky, isn't it? Here's how to make it go away forever:

On the Tools menu, click on Options
On the View tab, uncheck the 'Startup Task Pane' checkbox
Done!

If you should ever decide you miss it and want to see it again,
believe there's an option on the View menu that will re-enable it.

Hope this helps,

- Ro
