When I first upgraded to Windows XP, I had a really hard
time getting it to work at all. I used up both my free
help sessions with Microsoft getting them to fix their
screw ups in XP. After they did that Windows ran fine for
a month or so.

Now, Windows has gone all slow again and frequently it is
frozen when I try to use it.

I want to delete Windows Messenger because I think that is
part of the problem. How do I do that.

What makes you think Windows Messenger, specifically, is part of the
problem? What else has been done? Has anything else been added or removed?
