I have been asked that when I create Windows XP images for our systems
that I make it so Windows XP does not pop up with the "Take a Tour Of
Windows XP" and the .net Passport balloons in the system tray. But
for the life of me, I can't find any information on how to accomplish
this. Anybody managed to do this?

Peace.

Download the XP Powertoys - specifically TweakUI - from
MS. On the source system for creating your images,
install TweakUI, run it, select Taskbar and
uncheck "Enable balloon tips". No more nag balloons! As
for "Take a Tour", I assume you've noticed that there is
a check box to stop it from reappearing. (I don't
remember the exact wording, but it's in the lower left
corner, I believe.) If you take care of that before
imaging, I don't think the imaged systems would
display "take a tour" on first boot.
