I do I switch security companys without screwing up my computer and which
company works the best,I think I still have a firewall issue though, plus my
computer would not let me restore to a earlier date, whats up with thaat???

uninstalling anti virus
software is not as easy
as it use to be and using
the add/remove programs
in control panel usually
screws up the operating
system.

you should go to mcafee
website and look up the
"exact" instructions
for removing thier software.

sometimes software has
to be reinstalled in order
to uninstall it.

if you are successful with
uninstalling it, you should
do a "repair installation"
with your windows cd so
that you can be assured
that your system files were
not inadverdently corrupted
by the anti virus.

there are other anti virus
programs that are freewares
and generally do a good job.

most servers and isp's automatically
scan their systems with antivirus
software's anyways so most of
the protections has already been
provided by american base servers
throughout our vunderfull motherland.

Check with McAfee tech support for how to uninstall their program. As to a
replacement, there are several good AV programs including Avast and AVG,
both free, and NOD32.

For the system restore problem see this troubleshooting page.
