Hi,
I can't get rid from ctfmon from starting automatically on
startup. Whenever I delete it from the list, it reappears
on the next boot.
I tried to follow Microsoft's instruction for
deleting "advanced text services" from the "language bar"
but did not find any "advanced text services there". I
guess it has to do with my double language configuration
(English-US and Hebrew).
I removed the hadndwritten and speech recognition
services - but ctfmon keeps returning.
Anyone has any idea how to get rid from it?

CTFMon is involved with the language/alternative input services in Office
XP. CTFMON.exe will continue to put itself back into MSConfig when you run
the Office XP apps as long as the Text Services and Speech applets in the
Control Panel are enabled. Not required if you don't need these features.

Thanks for this bit of information.
How do you disable Text Services and Speech applets in the
Control Panel?

thanks!
