getting new email

i have to hit the send/receive each time I open my mail to receive new mail,
it doesn't update automatically even though I have update settings set from 2
minutes to 30 minutes tried.

Make sure you are not running a non-compatible antivirus program
like Norton or McAfee. Those should be uninstalled and replaced
with a compatible antivirus like the free version of Avast:

yes it was checked but I unchecked it since i never shut it down and now it works thank you
