Does anyone know how to fix the following:

"A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?
Line 13: Error 'window.open(...)'is null or not an object"

Runtime errors are happening not just on one website, but
multiple websites and are interfering with the user's
ability to get info from the internet.

The only thing I had done previously to her machine was to
uninstall Microsoft Office XP Media Content. She is
currently using Microsoft Office 2003 and was having some
problems with her personal calendar so removed the Office
XP media content which she wasn't using anyway and this
appears to have fixed the bug with her personal calendar.

but now she is getting all kinds of runtime errors that
popup in IE.

Any ideas?

isn't that from bad coding on websites? I don't think it's a local problem.

in IE, tools options, Advanced, uncheck Display a notification about every
script error..

Hey thanks for the quick reply. This was already
unchecked.

However I did check "disable script debugging" and also
checked "TLS 1.0" and seem to have stopped getting the
nuisance runtime errors but this may be premature as I
have only checked one website that we were having problems
with.

any other ideas on what was causing this?

thanks again,

katie

sorry, let us know if you fix the problem.
