Getting Folder Options to Stick

I am so tired of having to keeping switching from the "Icon" option to the
"Details" option in Explorer, I have been to the folder options in the
control panel. For the life of me I can't find a setting that will
universally set the folder options to "Details," and stay there. It seems
that whether I go up or down in a hierachy, my folders (directory) or the
files within them will switch back to Icon size instead of remaining in the
detail setting.

Can someone please help here. I would be very appreciative

Set the Folder details you desire on a Folder, then in Win Explorer, Go to Tools,
Folder Options - View - Apply to All Folders

To assist, try Kelly's tweak because the default for Windows XP is to remember the
view settings for the 400 most recently used folders.

Line #2 - Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000
