Getting an error message

I keep getting an error message everytime I start my computer up. Its from a
program that I recently have uninstalled (AIM Messenger) I already asked this
question in another post, I was told to click the START menu, then click RUN,
but I forget what it was that I was supposed to type in after that, that will
show me what programs are running on my system. Its the part where you can
check & uncheck certain programs, hopefully someone will understand what I'm
talking about, I'm not too advanced on computers. I just need that file name
so I can go in and uncheck the AIM Messenger box to disable it from error
reporting. I think that last part of it was: .exe? I think? Thanks a
million, Sincerely, Nicole

The correct solution is to uninstall AIM completely, which you apparently
did not do.

First, you'll have to reinstall AIM, then reboot and uninstall it again.
When installing or uninstalling software in Windows XP, you should
temporarily disable your antivirus software. For complete instructions on
how to uninstall AIM, contact AOL.
